With 36 years of experience, Dr. Nelson Vetanze
has perfected the most effective hands-on chiropractic
techniques that allow patients to recover quickly.
“My specialty is advanced hands-on techniques
promoting biomechanics,” Dr. Vetanze says.
“I treat not only the spine, but also shoulders,
ankles, feet, hands—the total body.”
His methods attract sports professionals from
all over the globe, including many NFL players,
heavyweight boxing champion DaVarryl Williamson
and UFC ultimate fighter Mike Nickels. His clients
have also included celebrities such as Burt Reynolds,
William Fichtner, Michael Irvin, Brian Bosworth
and Nelly.
Dr. Vetanze emphasizes communication with patients,
inviting them to help determine the best treatment
approach. “Here it’s not big doctor,
little patient,” he says. “Instead,
we work together as a team.” Dr. Vetanze
helps patients develop individualized recovery
plans that often include nutritional counseling
and referrals to other Omni practitioners such
as massage therapists, physical therapists, trigger-point
therapists, reiki master and acupuncturists. When
necessary, he also refers patients to radiologists,
internists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons
and psychologists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Vetanze enjoys being
with his family, which includes a wife, three
children and two grandchildren.

Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Steve Belits takes a gentle approach to chiropractic care. Recognizing that all patients have unique needs, he works with each client to design an ideal treatment plan.
Before performing an adjustment, he often incorporates core stabilization exercises, physical therapy interventions and strategies such as trigger-point therapy and Active Release Technique (ART) that relax the muscles and enable the body to adjust more easily.
After graduating in 2005 from the Logan College
of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Belits
opted to specialize in occupational and preventive
chiropractic care. He also works extensively with
professional and amateur athletes and patients
suffering from auto accident injuries. He is currently
enrolled in the physical therapy doctorate program
at the University of Colorado Health Sciences
Center.
Dr. Belits speaks fluent English as well as Russian.

He has 27 years of experience with techniques such as acupressure, active isolated stretching and trigger point therapy. In addition, he manages the Omni Chiropractic and Rehabilitation office. When he's not at Omni, Robert likes to spend time with his wife and three daughters.

Licensed Physical Therapist
Wes Katagi, owner and operator of Physiovation,
P.C., employs innovative therapy strategies such
as manual muscle stimulation, strain-counterstrain
positional release and muscle energy techniques.
He also teaches patients to perform rehabilitation
exercises using simple, practical equipment such
as resistance bands and Swiss balls, which can
be easily transferred to a home environment.
Wes provides one-on-one skilled therapy for the
duration of each treatment session. He emphasizes
patient education and takes a multi-discipline
approach to health care, working in conjunction
with other Omni practitioners. Although he specializes
in sports-related injuries, he is also skilled
in treating clients with chronic pain or with
injuries from auto- or work-related accidents.
When not practicing physical therapy, Wes enjoys
playing sports, woodworking, mentoring youth at
his church, and spending time with his wife and
two young children.

Acupuncturist, Hypnotist, Massage Therapist, Medical Doctor (USSR), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (USSR)
Edward Khokhlov offers a holistic approach to
healing, using multiple techniques to treat the
physical, emotional and psychological aspects
of injuries. “If you hurt your knee, it’s
usually not just your knee that is the problem,”
Dr. Khokhlov says. “Your body is a whole
system, and your mind and body are linked.”
Originally trained in his native USSR as a medical
doctor, he has since received degrees or certifications
in psychotherapy, oral and maxillofacial surgery,
massage therapy, the Bowen Technique, hypnosis
and acupuncture. Dr. Khokhlov was a member of
the USSR National and Olympic gymnastic team (1961-1964)
and has earned a shodan (black belt) in Tomiki
Aikido, participating in the 1993 World Championship
in Japan. He is also a graduate and an advisor
to the Board of Directors of the Colorado School
of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a diploma
in Acupuncture.

Licensed Massage Therapist
Trained in Florida and his native Bulgaria, Toni
Anguelov emphasizes massage techniques such as
deep-tissue work and positional release, which
is effective for pain relief. “Once you
find the perfect position to hold any muscle,
the pain will go away within ninety seconds to
two minutes,” Toni says.
Toni has also spent 20 years with various circus
companies, acting as a catcher for the teeterboard
act. He is a national judo and sambo champion
and is fluent in eight languages: English, Bulgarian,
Yugoslavian, Romanian, Russian, French, Italian
and German.

Certified Massage Therapist
Inna Krivolap performs a broad range of massage
techniques—including Swedish, sports and
deep-tissue—that focus on relaxation and
pain relief. Her clients include pregnant women,
small children and patients from all age groups.
Originally trained in Russia as a nurse, Inna
later studied massage therapy in Denver and has
been an Omni practitioner for six years. Outside
the office, Inna enjoys spending time with her
husband and 22-year-old daughter, as well as reading
about history and philosophy.
